Our fast-growing team based in Gothenburg, Amsterdam and Hangzhou, are reshaping mobility as we know it.

Retail Store Manager (Amsterdam)

 

You think car showroom? Think twice. Lynk & Co is not another car brand, it's a different one. We show this by not opening just another store, but a different one. One that does not resemble a car showroom, nor any other car brand store in the world.

Our stores will be the centre for our community and alongside our product offer it will be a place where people can meet, grab a cup of coffee and be inspired. For our very first store, we’re looking for a super motivated and positive Store Manager to be leading the crew in Amsterdam.

 

Keeping a store thriving requires a diverse set of leadership skills, and as the Store Manager, you’re a master of them all. You build and inspire a high-performing team of unique individuals who deliver best-in-class store experiences for our customers. You are a highly motivated professional that can make people feel at home in an instant. Most importantly, you share the Lynk & Co vision with customers and lead employees with the same vision, you are the lead Lynk & Co ambassador.

 

Position Description

You will report into the Director Retail responsible for all store projects in Europe.

 

In your role as Retail Store Manager you will be…

  • Responsible for setting up and implementing the operational strategy, overseeing the day-to-day management of the store
  • Ensuring the store KPI’s and managing all commercial activities for the store
  • Build and manage a team, supporting HQ in finding and training expert store staff with the Lynk & Co DNA.
  • Create a consistent top-of-the-class and on-brand customer experience
  • Ensure seamless integration between our online and offline activities
  • Oversee in-store events, acting as the face of the brand and ensuring that social occasions for our customers are executed professionally.
  • Oversee product selection in store and keep track of inventory.

 

We believe to be successful in this position, you…

  • Have 5 years’ experience of being end responsible for store, event or restaurant venue, setting the strategy and managing the day-to-day business.
  • Are a strategic thinker with an eye on top line sales and mindful of the bigger picture for our brand and business.
  • Have insane social EQ with a very well socially connected and extensive network in Amsterdam
  • Posess excellent sales skills with a non-pushy approach and proven ability to drive amazing customer experiences
  • Have attention to detail; the presentation of your store is always immaculate and on-brand
  • Have a very good ability to organise successful in-store events and activities
  • Enjoy working in an international atmosphere and offers great intercultural competences.
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English with excellent communication skills.
  • Whilst it’s not compulsory, an interest or passion in things ‘automotive’ as well as experience working with larger brands is valuable.

 

As store opening hours vary you understand that this is not a 9 to 5 job - it requires genuine commitment, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. You have a deep interest in the latest trends and are willing and able to travel international regularly. The contract will be initially for 6 months with the intention to offer a permanent contract after this.
