Social Media Specialist

It is not every day that someone launches a new mobility brand, but that isn’t what is unusual about us. Lynk & Co is the future of car ownership that is subscription based, the mobility equivalent of Netflix. We are a new global urban and sharable mobility brand focusing on the needs of the connected generation.  We challenge the conventional car industry of today.

Our fast-growing team based in Gothenburg, Amsterdam and Hangzhou, are reshaping mobility as we know it.

We are currently expanding to provide the capability for our global market entry and your contribution may be key to our success. If you share the passion for creating amazing customer experience, have an open mindset, thrive on innovative ways of working and want to be part of a global, diverse and agile team, you sound like you might be our next colleague.

The following position is currently open for application:

Social Media Specialist (location Amsterdam)

To be straight forward, we are not looking for someone who is great at liking Instagram updates from the Kardashian family. We are looking for someone who knows how to use Social Media Channels to get the message out into the world on the cool things we do at Lynk & Co.

We are a start-up, so you need to be able to work in that kind of environment. Things change quickly here, and we have a small team. So, you need to be able to work independently on your responsibilities. You use your superpowers to help others, and you know how to work effectively in a (remote) team.

You:

  • Create a social omnichannel strategy
  • Manage all our Social Channels
  • Create, own and drive the Global Social Media Calendar
  • Create and manage content briefings
  • Analyze all Social Media Channels on a Weekly & Monthly basis
  • Plan & Publish organic content on all channels
  • Have a strong collaboration with other departments like Marketing, PR, Ecommerce, CRM and Engagement Centre
  • Utilize social listening tools to generate insights, analyze and optimize

We believe to be successful in this Position, you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communication or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience within social media channels
  • Good experience with Photoshop
  • Knowledge of social business accounts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • Experience with social media analytics, preferably including Google Analytics
  • Excellent written communication skills in English and Dutch
  • We get very happy if you master other European languages such as French or German

We have set a salary range between 2.500 and 3.000 Euro for this position, depending on your experience. The contract will be initially for 6 months with the intention to offer a permanent contract after this.

In our recruitment we work with a competence-based framework. You apply by submitting you CV and answer a few questions. A personal letter is appreciated, but not mandatory.

Our selection will primarily look at relevant experience, and thereafter evaluate inherent personal characteristics using psychometric tools.

We look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible, but latest 2019-12-31. We will do ongoing selection of candidates during the application period so don’t hesitate to post your application if this looks interesting to you.

We are a rapidly expanding global mobility brand. We offer a culture of personal development and role growth. You will have the pleasure of working in a fast-paced environment with a team that punches considerably above its weight. We look for collaborators. Original thinkers. People who value being open, personal and challenging. People who think (like we do) that imagination is as important as expertise and value instinct and insight as much as experience. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
