Lifestyle Marketing Manager

It is not every day that someone launches a new mobility brand, but that isn’t what is unusual about us. Lynk & Co is the future of car ownership that is subscription based, the mobility equivalent of Netflix. We are a new global urban and sharable mobility brand focusing on the needs of the connected generation.  We challenge the conventional car industry of today.

Our fast-growing team based in Gothenburg, Amsterdam and Hangzhou, are reshaping mobility as we know it.

We are currently expanding to provide the capability for our global market entry and your contribution may be key to our success. If you share the passion for creating amazing customer experience, have an open mindset, thrive on innovative ways of working and want to be part of a global, diverse and agile team, you sound like you might be our next colleague.

The following position is currently open for application:

We are looking for an experienced Lifestyle Marketing Manager. Lynk & Co claims ‘we were not another car brand, we are a different one’. We show this by not spending big money on TV spots and primetime commercial slots. We achieve this by not following the conventional automotive road. A large part of our brand is building a meaningful, grass roots connection with our audience. We want to engage, inspire, challenge and activate our users, and create a natural network around us. This is why we are looking for the spider in our local web. We are looking for someone who knows their way around the creative scene in Amsterdam and the rest of Holland – someone who has a background in music, art, fashion and has the address book to go with it. We need someone who constantly comes up with ideas for events, products, activations and collaborations, and has the experience and connections to execute them. You will be the outwards face as well as the eyes and ears of the brand in the local scene.

This position will be based in Amsterdam

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Curating partners for local collaborations
  • Curating and managing multiple weekly events in the Lynk & co store
  • Managing ongoing collaborative projects with chosen partners
  • Establish Lynk & Co as a forward thinking, lifestyle focused brand
  • Maintaining contacts with local brands, institutions and opinion leaders

Who are you?

  • Our ideal candidate has a strong creative background with a broad existing network
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Able to work without close supervision and on own initiative
  • Experience running events
  • Willing to occasionally work outside of ‘business hours’
  • Able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and spoken English

We are a start-up, with the possibility and challenges that comes with that. It means that things can change quickly here, and we believe that you enjoy that type of environment. You will join a small but awesome team who expect you to work independently but also to use your superpowers to help others. Did we mention that the team is partly remote? Of course, you know how deal with that in an effective way!

Last, but not least, you thrive in an environment where you get to work independently and bring your creative ideas forward, but you also enjoy partnering across the team.

What We Offer
We are a rapidly expanding global mobility brand. We offer a culture of personal development and role growth. You will have the pleasure of working in a fast-paced environment with a team that punches considerably above its weight. We look for collaborators. Original thinkers. People who value being open, personal and challenging. People who think (like we do) that imagination is as important as expertise and value instinct and insight as much as experience. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

We look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible, but latest April 10, 2020. We will do ongoing selection of candidates during the application period so don’t hesitate to post your application if this looks interesting to you.
